Jim understands true struggles and know what it takes to succeed in Real Estate having worked through the early 90’s during his young career to present day holding the Platinum award at RE/MAX.   With 29 years’ experience in the business, it is quite likely that he has experienced both the problem and the solution to most of our everyday challenges!jim-lawson


He appreciates that we are all individuals, and that we all have unique personality traits.   There is no magic pill in Real Estate, but through his intuition and genuine appreciation for you, the individual, he will help you uncover what will work for your own situation.  But be prepared, he is driven to help you succeed but will do so with a no nonsense approach balanced with empathy, compassion and wit.

Jim is a lifelong resident of Kitchener Waterloo and not only possesses great real estate insight, but the knowledge that comes from calling one place his home for all his life.  When he’s not working, you can occasionally find him on the tennis court, the golf course or just enjoying a hike or bike ride.  He is keenly aware that to have success in real estate, there must be a life balance and lots of personal time too.

After 29 years selling real estate and consistently being the top producer, and to being a mentor on his teams for over a decade, he is taking on formal coaching and mentoring to bring added challenges to his already fulfilling career. Still an active realtor, Jim will bridge those two worlds through staying current in real estate as well as being amazing coach.

Jim joined Toastmasters in 1998, and has been actively trying to nurture and enhance the natural abilities of his fellow members and colleagues ever since.  His ability to communicate beyond the basic “scripts” will also enhance your business.

Jim knows how important technology can be in the business as well. He has had his own real estate domain since 1995, and has been as paperless as regulations allowed for over three years. If CRM’s are your thing, he knows about those too, and uses one himself. Continuing education is important too. Jim has been licensed as a broker since the mid 90s and is constantly updating and upgrading his skills, the most recent of which is MCNE® Master Certified Negotiation Expert. He has also started teaching the CNE1 course.
