Things look a little brighter this week.
Biden’s making a plan for the US and news of three highly effective vaccines are both very welcome during these dark, cold days of November. Of course, there is talk of delays with production and distribution and no certainty around timelines, but there is an end coming.
I am sure we will all share feelings of frustration, loneliness, and anxiety in the coming months, but we now know there will be an end, and it’s time to prepare.
Sometime in the coming year, the world will emerge from this terrible pandemic that has taken 1.5 million lives and counting, challenged our democracies, infringed on our freedoms, and changed the way we see everything.
Now is the time to plan for that re-emergence. What do you want your world to look like moving forward?
What are you taking forward, and what are you leaving behind?
A lightbulb went off for me this week. While we still have many months of challenging times ahead, I have begun to seek out the positive elements both for me and our collective world.
I’m feeling optimistic that we have an opportunity to choose our path forward.
For me, it’s going to be about getting myself back in tip-top shape – both my inner and my outer world. Fresh air, physical challenges, healthy food, honouring my relationships, less wine, more self-awareness, and more generosity. These things will set me up to be strong, confident, and optimistic so that I can positively impact our emerging world.
What does your plan look like?
Stay safe – especially now. No one wants to be the last person to suffer with COVID.
