Is There an Ethical Advantage?

Being ethical is more than merely adhering to your CREA Code of Ethics, although that’s a great start.

Being ethical is doing the right thing, even when it’s hard.   It’s a personal decision to accept responsibility for your actions.  It’s acting in alignment with your personal values.  It’s doing the best job possible, not the quickest.

When you are ethical in business, you feel confident, proud and guilt free.

In the corporate world, there’s often a tension between human ethics, doing the right thing, and profit –  securing the highest returns for the shareholders.

But REALTORS® aren’t corporations.  We are people helping people and in my decades of experience in real estate, the guilt free soul of a REALTOR® who is doing excellent work, attracts an abundance of high-quality clients.
