Some people are like magnets when it comes to getting people to like and trust them.

In sales, this magnetic attraction can be extremely valuable.

Is it something that we can develop?  You bet!

Is is about mindset and attitude.  If we can learn to choose a mindset of curiosity, compassion and authentic interest in people, and we learn to express this mindset with highly effective communication skills, we too can master the art of attracting clients.

Would prospecting for clients be more effective and more fun if you had this set of skills?

This weeks exercise:

(1) At the beginning of each day, set your intention to approach people with a mindset of curiosity

(2) Focus your attention on listening to people and truly hearing what they are saying

(3) Ask question of people that show you are listening and that invite them to answer in a broader way than yes or no.
