Four Deep Truths to Relfect on as we Approach 2024

GRIT:  Grit is a positive, non-cognitive trait based on a person’s perseverance of effort combined with their passion for a particular long-term goal or end state.   It is essential to help you overcome obstacles, challenges and resistance and to take action towards our desired results.  (My business planning creates the ideal environment for you to build grit)

“True Grit is making a decision and standing by it, doing what must be done. No moral person can have peace of mind if they leave undone what they know they should have done”

John Wayne

UNLEARN:  Unlearning is the act of eliminating established habits, believes, assumptions and knowing.   Unlearning is uncomfortable.  Unlearning creates the space for you to experience quantum change in your performance and results.   Refusing to unlearn would mean rejecting the disruptions that are deeply and rapidly affecting the world’s systems today.  If we want to keep up with the present to prepare for the future, there is no alternative but to accept and adapt to the changes that are occurring around us.   (I have watched a miracle in learning occur in the coach training course as people learn a totally new way to communicate which has a profound and immediate impact on their business – book an appointment to learn more)

“The Illiterate of the 21st century will not be those that cannot read and write, but those that cannot learn, unlearn and relearn”

Alvin Toffler

Occam’s Razor: Occam’s razor is a principle often attributed to 14th–century friar William of Ockham that says that if you have two competing ideas to explain the same phenomenon, you should prefer the simpler one.  In real estate, success comes from having meaningful conversations with people about real estate.   Find the simplest, most direct route to that and you will find success. (Take a deep and honest look at your lead generation in light of this principle – consider getting support to help make the shift)

“This has been one of my mantras: focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: you have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.”

Steve Jobs

PASSIONATE CURIOSITY:  Einstein saw curiosity as our potent superpower.  It compels us to explore the unknown, question assumptions, challenge boundaries.   It is an essential element in The Alchemy of Connection.  Adopting a mindset of curiosity will not only improve your business instantly, but it will also have a significant positive effect on all aspects of your life.  (Free mini e-book on Mindset and Curiosity)
